A lifetime of adventure and discovery

What we believe

We believe in Jesus

We believe Jesus is alive today and present with us by His Holy Spirit.

We follow Jesus because we have faith that he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We follow Him because we have experienced that living life with Jesus at the centre brings us the “life to the full” that Jesus promised his followers (John 10:10).

The message of Jesus is simple yet contains within it a lifetime of adventure and discovery. We’d love to talk to you about Jesus and try to answer any questions you have, so please join us on a Sunday or contact us.

The Creed

Some of the first disciples wrote The Apostles creed. It’s a summary of what we and Christians around the world believe about God. Find out more about it on the Church of England website.

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Amen.
